Art is Lit is your creative marketplace, a space where artists and art lovers connect.
Please take a moment to read through this guide before getting started so you can make the most of your experience.

 

Important Information

Commission and Fees

To help maintain and grow our platform, Art is Lit charges sellers a 10% commission on each completed sale. However, we’re currently running a limited-time offer — only 5% commission on all sales until March 2026!

Sellers are also responsible for transaction fees applied by their chosen payment provider (such as PayPal, Wise, or Stripe).

These are standard processing fees set by the payment services,  not by Art is Lit.

We believe in transparency,  you’ll always be able to view a full breakdown of commissions and fees directly in your vendor dashboard.

Withdrawal Schedule

To ensure smooth transactions and protect both artists and buyers, funds from completed sales are held for 30 days before they can be withdrawn.

This short holding period allows time to process any potential refunds or disputes that may arise.
After the 30-day period, you’ll be free to withdraw your earnings directly to your preferred payment account.

Who Can Join Art is Lit

Anyone is welcome to browse and be inspired by the art in our marketplace, free of charge.

To actively buy or sell through Art is Lit Online Marketplace, you’ll need to register as a User and meet the relevant requirements for your role in our community.

  • You need to be 18 or older to join.
  • Parents and guardians (18+) are welcome to open an account for a young artist, but they’ll need to accept the Terms and Conditions and take responsibility for the account.
  • Your account is just for you and your personal journey — not for business use.
  • Please take a moment to read and agree to our Terms and Conditions and Community Rules.
  • By joining, you’ll also agree to the Art is Lit Privacy Policy
