Easy Guide to Setting Up Your Account

 

Welcome to the Art is Lit Vendor Hub!

 

We’re thrilled to have you here! We know that starting something new can feel a little overwhelming, so here’s a 4-step guide along with a Dokan videos, to help you get your shop live.

Step 1: Create Your Digital Store

This is your personal art corner on Art is Lit — where customers come to meet you and connect with your story.

 

    • Shop Name: Choose something unique and memorable.
    • Profile Picture/Logo: Use a clear photo of yourself or your professional logo.
    • Banner Image: Upload a wide, eye-catching image (your workspace, art wall, or a collection of your work).
    • Shop Bio: Share your inspiration, creative process, and artistic passion.

You’ll notice a blue box appears with this message:

Don’t be alarmed — you don’t need to contact the administrator at this stage. They’ll automatically receive a notification that your information and documentation need to be reviewed. Once approved, your shop will be activated. This process usually takes no more than 3 working days.

Step 2: List Your First Masterpiece

Once Art is Lit verifies your account, the fun begins and it’s time to upload your first product!

 

    • 📷 Product Photos: Use bright, clear images from multiple angles.

    •  Product Title: Be descriptive! Example: “Ocean Blues – Large Original Abstract Canvas Art.
    • Inventory: Tick ‘Track stock quantity for this product’ and enter the correct stock quantity. Then click do not allow back orders.

    • Description: Include dimensions, materials, and a short story about the artwork.

    • Price & Stock: Selling one-of-a-kind art? Set Stock = 1.

    • Categories & Tags: Use relevant tags to help buyers find your work (e.g., #Abstract, #OilPainting, #MinimalistDecor).

Important:
Once you publish your product, it will be submitted for review by the Art is Lit team.
This ensures all listings meet our quality and content guidelines before being visible on the marketplace.
You’ll receive a notification once your product has been approved and made live.

Note: Please ignore the a light blue message about social links, every vendor can update their own social information directly in their dashboard.

 

Step 3: From Sale to Send

Congratulations — you’ve made your first sale! 🎉 Here’s how to deliver with love:

Order Notification: You’ll see it in your dashboard + get an email.

Package With Care: Use sturdy packaging + a thank-you note.

Ship It: Send with your chosen courier.

Mark as Shipped: Update dashboard with tracking details.

Vendor Shipping Requirements

To ensure a smooth delivery experience for your customers, all vendors must accurately complete their shipping details within their Vendor Dashboard settings. You are responsible for setting your own regional shipping rates, classes, and zones, which the marketplace will use to calculate costs during checkout.

 

 

Step 4: Get Paid for Your Passion

The best part 🙂, getting your well-deserved earnings!

Go to Dashboard > Settings > Payments.

Securely connect your bank account via Stripe or Paypal.
